The public will be allowed to pay their last respects to their beloved actor and leader Ambareesh on Sunday at Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru. As a mark of respect to Ambareesh, the state government has declared an official mourning of three days.
Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy, in consultation with the family members of Ambareesh and the film industry has announced that the last rites of the veteran actor-politician will be conducted near Dr Rajkumar Smaraka at Kanteerava Studio, Bengaluru, with state honours, on Monday. Special buses have been arranged from all taluks of the actor's hometown, Mandya, for the fans to reach Bengaluru and pay homage to the actor.
