Ahead of 2019 general elections, PM Modi does surprise late-night review of projects in Varanasi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a surprise visit to Varanasi late on Saturday night, reviewing the progress of development projects in his constituency. He had inaugurated a slew of projects earlier in the day in the city. Modi also visited the Kashi Vishwanath temple. He then headed to Ravindrapuri, Sonarpura, Gowdowlia and Gyanvapi with his entourage before reaching Varanasi Townhall.
