For the fourth anniversary of the Swachh Bharat Mission, we asked Indian musicians to create a track that would inspire everyone to do their bit to clean the country.

Vaibhav Bhutani from New Delhi and Sukanya Chattopadhyay from Kolkata came together to contribute to the initiative with an anthem for our cleanliness campaign, Clean My Nation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the launch of the Swachhata Hi Seva movement from September 15 to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. While it may be an ambitious project that aims to rid the country of epidemics such as dengue, malaria and diseases stemming from open air defecation, the main aim is to change people’s perception of and behaviour towards cleanliness.

So, share with us how you cleaned our nation?

As the song aptly says, "Wanderlust ke naam pe America aur Australia ghoom aaya, 'It's so clean, bro' bol ke apne desh mein kooda phenk aaya."
