Enduring challenges

Years back, when he was anticipating results of the UPSC exams, he recounted how he repeatedly refreshed the UPSC website in the hope of finding his name in the list. At the time, he was at home in Gurgaon. When the results were declared and the final list was released, he downloaded the PDF and began scrolling through the list. His heart raced faster when he could not find his name. After double-checking and using the Ctrl+F key, he accepted that his name was not on the list. The whole experience left him feeling numb.

Friend’s support

Jitin Yadav realized that he had cleared the exams. He felt an overwhelming sense of disappointment. During this difficult time, a friend’s encouraging words helped him get out of the despair.
