#UnmaskingChina: Uninstall 52 Chinese apps from phones, UP STF tells employees

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh’s Special Task force (STF) has issued a directive to its employees and family members to immediately remove Chinese applications from their mobile phones. STF has listed 52 Chinese apps.

Amidst the India-China standoff in Ladakh, STF issued an order regarding Chinese apps and said its personnel should uninstall them immediately. STF also said that the Union home ministry has advised to uninstall all Chinese apps.

 

These apps could be stealing your personal and official data, so immediately uninstall them to protect your privacy, the Union home ministry has said, according to STF.

 

In the order, STF cited that these apps are harmful to personal and official data and should not exist in the state government employees and officers’ phones and even their family members should avoid installing such apps.
