The Indian Railways has come up with a new design to bolster the strength of the seat.
As per a video shared on twitter, you can see that the Railways is reinforcing the berth with a cushioned sideboard so that passengers don’t feel discomfort as they sleep on it.
The innovation appears to have been added in the AC Two Tier LHB coach as evident by the reading lamp - a feature of that class, notes a popular website.
