Hyderabad: Tagaru emerged as the biggest-ever Kannada film in the opening weekend earnings outside Karnataka, as the movie made Rs 10 crore in three days. It was release in February this year. The movie is also the first Kannada film to be released in Kenya and Japan. The film also bagged the ‘Highest Grossing Sandalwood movie of 2018’ award at the Indywood International Awards 2018. Tagaru was directed by Duniya Soori and had Shivarajkumar, Bhavana in lead roles.
