After Vinta Nanda's big revelation about Alok Nath, another woman has accused the veteran actor of sexual harassment.

With each passing day, we are coming across horrifying stories of women, who have been traumatised and sexually harassed by chauvinistic men of respective industries.

The #MeToo movement, which is now happening in India, has brought many names into the public through social media. The most shocking one is that of the most sanskari actor, Alok Nath. After Vinta Nanda's big revelation, another woman has accused the veteran actor of sexual harassment.

A crew member from Bollywood blockbuster Hum Saath Saath Hain (1999), on the condition of anonymity, has taken up the courage and has come forward with fresh allegations. She told Mid-Day about what she went through during the last schedule of the film, Hum Saath Saath Hai.

Alok Nath, who is fondly known as Babuji, allegedly grabbed her hands and manhandled her. She reportedly said, "We were shooting for a night scene and I had taken a change of costumes to him. Once I handed him the clothes, he started stripping in front of me. I was taken aback, and tried to make my way out of the room as soon as possible. When I tried to run out, he grabbed my hand and manhandled me. I remember yanking my hand out of his grip and rushing out of the room."

She also added that she couldn't report the whole incident to Sooraj Barjatya, the producer-director of the film. "I was shell-shocked; I couldn't muster the courage to speak up against him. He was extremely close to the Barjatyas, and Sooraj sir would have taken it badly," added the survivor.

The victim in question here also mentioned that she could not report Alok Nath's misbehaviour to Sooraj Barjatya (producer of the film) as the actor was close to him.

She told the tabloid that despite all of it, she shot for the schedule. But that incident has scarred her for life as she doesn't want to be a part of this ‘glitz and glam’ world. "I don't actively do movies anymore. The course of my career changed [after this episode]," she added.

Concluding the interview with the tabloid, the lady praised Vinta Nanda for putting a brave front by opening up about the actor. "I am glad CINTAA is taking action against him. I salute Vinta's courage; I wish I could show the same courage, but life has come way past it and I can't put my family through this," she said.

It all started when a few days ago, Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta broke her silence in an interview to Zoom TV and she said Nana Patekar had sexually harassed her on the sets of Horn Ok Pleasss and also named Vivek Agnihotri for misbehaving with her on the sets of Chocolate
