Actor Soni Razdan said that she sometimes feels that she should go to Pakistan to be happier while talking about her movie No Fathers in Kashmir.

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt mother Soni Razdan, who will be seen in No Fathers In Kashmir, has shocked many netizens with her recent statement about her willingness to move to Pakistan. The actor claimed that Internet trolls have inspired this feeling of moving to Pakistan in her.

During an interview with Nav Bharat Times, Soni expressed that she has faced a lot of flak in the past for any statement she has made about Kashmir. She also mentioned about the cultural imbalance in the valley and how India should not go Pakistan’s way.

Soni said that she often gets labelled as an 'anti-national' whenever she expresses her views related to Kashmir and Pakistan. She said, that people who disagree with her opinions tell her to go to Pakistan, and this makes her feel sometimes that she should go to the neighbouring country and she will be happier there as the food there is good.

Soni said, “Ab jab main aisi baatein karti hoon toh log mujhe deshdrohi kehkar Pakistan behjna shuru kar dete hain. Kabhi kabhi main sochti hoon ki haan, mujhe Pakistan hi chale jana chahie, main bohat khush rahungi Pakistan jaakar, wahan khana bhi bohat achha hai. Yahan toh bhagate hain log mujhe, bohat baar mujhe logon ne kaha ki tum Pakistan jaao, lekin meri tarah ki soch rakhne wale bohat zyada log hain, isliye mujhe isse koi zyada fark nahi padta hai ki kaun kya kehta hai”. (When I talk like this, people start calling me anti-national and want to send me to Pakistan. Sometimes I wonder, I should really go to Pakistan as I’ll be much happier there. As it is the food is also good that side. Here, people are after me and want to make me run away. However, there are so many people who share the same thoughts as me, and thus, it hardly makes any difference to me what people have to say about me.)

Naturally, her statement did not sit well with the netizend and she started getting trolled once again. Many yet again asked her to shift to Pakistan if she feels the neighbouring country is better than India.
