Mohammad Ibrar: This Village Boy is an Incredible Athletics Champion

Since childhood, he engaged in activities like long jump and running, often doing so without wearing shoes. 
 

Ibrar used to participate in the village games during Nag Panchami. By succeeding at the district level competitions, he became a state-level player. 
 

In 2006, Ibrar completed his high school education. But the family faced difficult financial circumstances and his father made it clear that he needed to get a job. 
 

Ibrar successfully secured the position of an aircraftman in the Air Force. 
 

Ibrar clinched a gold medal at the South Asian Games held in Dhaka and set a national record in the Indian Indoor Athletics Championship held in Iran. 
 

Ibrar won a bronze medal at the Asian Indoor Athletics Championship in Iran. He also participated in the World Military Championship in Greece.
 

Players from Sangrampur village have achieved recognition at the Asian level championships. 
 

The young players from the village have achieved an impressive total of 62 medals across state, national, and international competitions.
