IAS Smita Sabharwal was born in 1977 in West Bengal. Her father Colonel Pranab Das is an army officer, and her mother, Purabi Das, is a homemaker.

Current position

Presently, she is serving as the Secretary to Telangana CM, and is in charge as a member secretary of the TS Finance Corporation.
