IPS Pooja Yadav: A journey from working abroad to UPSC success

The success story of IPS officer Pooja Yadav is remarkable in every sense. 
 

Pooja Yadav was leading a comfortable life while working abroad. However, her passion for contributing to her homeland prompted her to return to India. 
 

After completing her MTech degree in Biotechnology and Food Technology, Pooja Yadav relocated to Canada. She worked there for a while and then moved to Germany for work. 
 

Pooja returned to India. She appeared for her first UPSC attempt in 2017 but unfortunately failed in it. 
 

In her second attempt in 2018, Pooja successfully cleared the UPSC exams and secured an impressive 174th rank. With this, she accomplished her dream of becoming an IPS officer. 
 

Pooja remains active on social media and frequently connects with UPSC aspirants. In 2021, she tied the knot with IAS officer Vikalp Bhardwaj.
 

Pooja Yadav and her husband met during their training at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie. 
 

During her graduation years, she provided tuition classes and worked as a receptionist to cover the expenses of her education.
