Prior to her success, Sonal Goel could not gain a sufficient score in the General Studies paper during the Mains exam but she did not let it deter her dreams. 
 

After experiencing a setback in the General Studies paper, Sonal Goel devoted extra time to excelling the subject. She made extensive notes and revised them regularly. 
 

IAS Sonal Goel holds an LLB degree from Delhi University. During her UPSC journey, she was working as a Company Secretary at a company. 
 

With immense dedication, Sonal Goel managed to obtain high marks in all the subjects.
