Chef Zulfi’s inspiring journey from poverty to global recognition

Zulfiqar Hussain’s father used to work in the railways. The family faced financial difficulties and lived in a small house.  

It was challenging for his father to support the education of three children on his salary. Maulana Kalbe Sadiq Sahib sponsored Zulfiqar's education.

Zulfiqar achieved a spot in the top 10 in Polytechnic’s Joint Entrance Examination. He secured admission in Hotel Management in Almora.

During his third year, Zulfiqar received offers from top-notch hotels such as Oberoi, Taj, Radisson, and Club Mahindra. 
 

Zulfiqar appeared for an interview with Atlantis Dubai in Mumbai. He cleared all the rounds and joined the team at Atlantis Dubai. 

Zulfiqar gained valuable experience working with some of the world’s leading chefs in Dubai. In 2009, he returned to Lucknow and started working at a hotel. 

He became a consultant for approximately 30 to 35 hotels, restaurants, and clubs. In 2018, he established his own company. 

Zulfiqar successfully launched his company ‘Zusains Consultancy Services.’ Presently, there are 40 to 50 outlets in Lucknow.
