Priya is a resident of Mansarovar Colony, Bulandshahr. Her father works as an inspector in Mathura. Her grandfather is a retired SHO.

Priya earned an MSc in Physics from CCS University, Meerut. The governor awarded her a gold medal for securing the top position in her post graduate studies. 

In 2017, Priya cleared the UPPSC exam in her first attempt and secured a position in the Income Tax Department. However, her dedication led her to pursue the UPPSC exams again. 

Priya achieved her goal of becoming a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in 2018. 
 

Priya focused on the subjects that she found easier, which ultimately allowed her to achieve higher scores in those areas. 
 

Priya advises to incorporate daily newspaper reading into one’s routine. During her preparation, she diligently took notes and studied current affairs.
