‘Are you a confused person?’ Grilling UPSC interview questions

Rajdeep Singh Khaira, hailing from Ludhiana, cleared UPSC 2020 exams with a remarkable 495th rank. 
 

During the interview stage, he was asked some challenging questions. Let’s read about some of them. 
 

Rajdeep Singh was asked about his transition from the medical profession to UPSC. They asked him whether he was confused about his aspirations. 
 

that he always wanted to work in the government sector. He highlighted that it provides ample opportunities to make an impact on people’s lives. 
 

For his answer, Rajdeep also added that if he doesn’t get selected, he will continue doing his regular job in the medical profession in the government sector. 
 

The capital of Punjab and Haryana is Chandigarh. Why hasn’t there been any call for developing another city similar to Chandigarh?
 

During the partition of Punjab, it was agreed that Haryana would designate another capital while Chandigarh will remain the capital of Punjab. 
 

However, both states continue to claim Chandigarh, leading to ongoing conflict. 
 

that Chandigarh has evolved into a centre of excellence. Both the states are unwilling to give it to another state.
