Recently, Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea have increased their recharge plan rates on July 3, 2024. The users are still trying to get over it and now there is a new shock.
Vodafone Idea will be shutting down its unlimited data service. They have also hiked up the recharge plan rates up to Rs 50.
Vi plans are included with OTT subscriptions. The users can get subscriptions to Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar, or a premium subscription to SonyLiv.
Vodafone Idea has not just increased the prices but also changed the benefits. The Vi customers have gotten another big shock from this.
Vi has increased the price of Rs 701 postpaid plan to Rs 751. These changes were also made by Jio and Airtel, however, Vi has also reduced the benefits.
Vi's Rs 751 plan provides 150 GB of data and 3000 SMS. The plan also includes data rollover up to 200 GB. This means that users can use the data left every month.
The Rs 701 plan from Vi used to provide unlimited data from 12 AM to 6 AM. It was called the 'binge all night'. This service has been eliminated after the price hike.
