Once lived in a slum, now has a net worth of Rs 1139 crore in Dubai...

Rizwan Sajan is a real estate mogul in Dubai with a net worth of Rs 1139 crore or $1.38 billion. His journey from the slums of Mumbai to being a billionaire is moving. 

Rizwan hails from the streets of Ghatkopar, Mumbai. His family struggled to make ends meet and faced several financial setbacks. The kids had a pocket money of Rs 15. 

Rizwan started selling school books to contribute to the family income. He later started delivering milk and selling festival goods. However, things changed when is father died. 

After the death of his father, Rizwan became responsible for the family at the young age of 16. From his father's savings, he started a box file manufacturing business. 

He got his lucky chance when his uncle offered him a job in Kuwait. He took the offer and had a starting salary of 150 Dinars which grew with time. 

From the new job, he lifted his family out of poverty and got a house in Bandra and got his sister married. But things changed after the Gulf war in 1990. He came back home. 

Sajan decided to relocate to Dubai in 1993. He started a trading firm and ventured into different businesses such as sanitary solutions, business materials, and more. 

Sajan launched Danube Properties in 2014 which offered a 1% monthly payment plan. This led to the success of his company and solidified him as a real estate tycoon.
