Pj Joseph  

Kerala Congress leader PJ Joseph on May 13, was made the temporary chairman of the Kerala Congress (Mani). The decision was announced by the party general secretary Joy Abraham, who has the organisational charges. 

Jose K Mani faction of Kerala Congress (M) sought a favourable verdict from the court against the move of interim chairman PJ Joseph to elect party office bearers at the KM Mani Commemoration Ceremony.
 

Joseph will hold the temporary charge until a new chairman is chosen for the Kerala Congress (M). During the announcement of the temporary chairman, Abraham said as per party rules, in the absence of the chairman, according to the Rule 29 of party constituency, all powers and functions of the chairman will fall on the working chairman
 

The Kerala Congress (M) leaders claimed that the chairman and Parliamentary leader position belongs to the Mani group. Meanwhile, CF Thomas has advised the leaders to decide on mutual agreement. Those supporting the working chairman PJ Joseph is not ready to accept Jose K Mani as the chairman
