Even as governments scramble to contain the spread of the dreaded coronavirus pandemic, researchers have made a startling discovery that a form of the coronavirus can linger around for more than 2 weeks.According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Coronavirus can survive on a surface for 17 days. This comes after traces were found in cabins on infected cruise ship Diamond Princess more than 2 weeks after passengers, who showed symptoms or were asymptomatic, had vacated the rooms. IRCTC To Pay Compensation of Rs 63000 To Passengers of Tejas Express For Running Late

Indian Railways to Install Video Surveillance across 983 Stations
Indian Railways in a bid to improve the overall security of the passengers travelling in the trains has decided to install smart cameras in its premises. In order to enhance security at Railway stations which are major hubs of transportation on 8th January announced that Indian Railways is in the process of installing Internet Protocol (IP) based Video Surveillance System (VSS) at stations, that is, waiting halls, reservation counters, parking areas, main entrance/ exit, platforms, foot over bridges, booking offices, etc.
