IISc, ISRO Develop 'Space Brick' To Build Homes On Moon!
With Planet Earth under increasing threat, scientists around the world are now exploring how human beings can inhabit the Moon or Mars. A team of Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and ISRO researchers has developed ‘Space Bricks’ using Lunar Soil Simulant i.e. LSS, which could assist the construction of future settlements on the Moon and offer more eco-friendly options for constructions here on earth. Our orbiter had already located Vikram Lander much ahead of NASA: ISRO chief K Sivan
The Lander Vikram was to soft-land on the far side of the moon at on September 7. Minutes before its scheduled soft-landing, the communication with Vikram Lander was lost. It was 2.1 km above the moon's surface when it lost contact with ground stations.

Chandrayaan 2: NASA finds no trace of Vikram lander in flyby
NASA has found no evidence of Chandrayaan 2’s Vikram lander in its flyby of its Moon orbiter. Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) had attempted a soft landing on September 7 but lost communication with the lander just minutes before the scheduled landing time.

Chandrayaan 2’s Vikram had a hard landing; NASA releases images
Chandrayaan 2’s lander Vikram that was supposed to land on the lunar surface lost contact with ISRO moments before the scheduled landing time. NASA has now released images captured by its Lunar Orbiter Camera that shows that the lander suffered a hard landing.
