Kalpit Veerwal, JEE Main 2017 topper, skipped IIT placements to launch his EdTech startup. AcadBoost Technologies now empowers over 60,000 students and teachers, demonstrating his vision and entrepreneurial spirit.

After achieving AIR 1, Kalpit Veerwal secured admission in the computer science and engineering programme at IIT Bombay. During the placement drive, he chose not to participate and instead founded an online edtech company.

These five alumni of IITs secured high-paying jobs at reputed companies after completing their education. However, they eventually decided to venture into entrepreneurship to follow their dreams.

An intense study schedule posted by a JEE aspirant has sparked a debate online about the need for such extreme study plans and routines for cracking JEE. JEE 2017 topper, Kalpit Veerwal said, he did not study half as much and still scored full marks. Many people online are calling Veerwal out for diminishing someone's hard work and determination.
