He has worked in a popular Netflix series and his book earned him the prestigious Sahitya Akademi Award.

Pragya Sharma, a resident of Lucknow, is the first female Dastangoi artist from Uttar Pradesh. She has performed in more than a hundred shows in India and overseas. Pragya and her co-artist, Himanshu Vajpayee performed at the festival of National Mission for Clean Ganga event organized by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
