Custodial Death Case  

The Kerala government has decided to hand over the Nedumkandam custodial death case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)

Kerala high court granted bail to sub-inspector KA Sabu, in the Nedumkandam custodial death case. The court said the probe is almost complete and detention of the accused is not necessary in the case
 

The body of a victim of a custodial death in Kerala, Rajkumar, was exhumed for a second autopsy on Monday. The second post-mortem stated that there were more injuries on the body of the victim
 

Three Kerala policemen in the Rajkumar custodial death case were remanded to custody by the Peermade judicial first class magistrate court. Custodial death case victim Rajkumar’s wife has been granted government job by the Kerala government. Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan also decided to provide Rs 4 lakh to Rajkumar's mother and children, Kasthuri, Jessy and Joshy.
 

The remand report also states that the SI KA Sabu didn't interfere and didn't report to senior officials that other cops in the station were assaulting Rajkumar.
