Chitambaresh, Kerala high court judge has grabbed headlines for his controversial speech at the Tamil Brahmin Global meet in Kochi on July 19.  Minister for SC/ST and culture Balan said that the statement made by the judge will convey a wrong message to the society

Ranjith allegedly made derogatory remarks against Rajaraja Cholan I which could have generated enmity among people. When Ranjith’s anticipatory plea was presented before justice P Rajamanickam in June, the judge said that the director will not be arrested, but that he would have to wait for the hearing scheduled for June 19
