ISRO is gearing up for the crucial landing of ‘Vikram’ - Chandrayaan 2’s moon lander. It is expected to be carried out by 8 people in coordination. The landing is a much awaited event that will be witnessed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Bengaluru. Students from across the country are also expected to watch it alongside PM Modi.

Three students from states like Odisha, Jharkhand and Meghalaya will witness the moon landing on September 7 along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The students qualified an online quiz contest conducted by ISRO.

ISRO has scheduled the soft landing of the Vikram lander for September 7. Scientists at the Indian Space Research Organisation in Bengaluru would be engaged in this process which is expected to be completed by 1:55am.
