A bridge collapse in Bihar's Araria before inauguration raises concerns amidst previous incidents, prompting scrutiny and safety reassessment.

The famous Francis Scoot Key Bridge of Baltimore collapsed when a vessel from the Dali ship collided with it. All 22 crew members on the ship were Indians who alerted the officials before the collision, saving hundreds of lives. 

A part of a bridge on the Ulhas river in Rayta village was washed away and stretches of the road were damaged due to the heavy rains, in the process affecting traffic on the highway linking Mumbai to Ahmedabad in neighbouring Gujarat.

Recently, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus foot overbridge in Mumbai collapsed, leaving 5 people dead and more than thirty-five injured. The incident has shocked the citizens including Bollywood.
