Aathira said to police that she killed the baby by covering her mouth with her hands. She stated that the she did not intend to kill the baby and that the death was an accident.

Kerala: 15-month-old baby found dead; murder suspected

15-month-old Aadisha was found dead on Saturday afternoon. Her parents, Sharone and Aathira informed hospital authorities that they left the child alone in the room after she fell asleep and returned to find her unconscious.
