India has no shortage of inspirational people who radiate wisdom and provide us with the daily motivation we need to conquer our day. We don't have to look at any fictional characters to draw inspiration, hardworking people who have earned their status are the ones people should look up to. One such inspirational figure is Indian Forest Service (IFS) Officer Himanshu Tyagi.

He graduated from IIT Roorkee in 2016 with a degree in chemical engineering. Tyagi is active on social media, where he shares incidents and tips for self-improvement and motivation. Recently, he posted 5 steps on X (formerly Twitter) to become a 'made-genius' and also shared an experience from his days at IIT.

He wrote, "Born-genius v. Made-genius During IIT coaching, a student was famous for his amazing aptitude. People said, 'He's a born genius.' I went to him to ask some doubts. Found out he's not a "born-genius"; he's a "made-genius." How do we become "made-genius"? 5- steps. Thread.."

Tyagi first explained the difference between 'born-genius' and 'made-genius'. He wrote, "Some people are "born-genius". Some have genetic advantages. It can't be denied. If you feel you are not, you can become "made-genius." Never blame the circumstances; start the action."

He then shared his 5 tips to become a 'made-genius' for those who do not have the genetic advantages. In the first tip, he talked about the importance of consistency and practice.

In the next advice, Tyagi emphasised the significance of a favourable environment for better practice and eliminating distractions that take you away from your goals.

The third tip was about asking doubts and getting regular feedback. He also talked about making it challenging and increasing the level of difficulty as you go. His fifth advice was the most crucial which was 'keep doing it'. Even if you have become an expert, never stop learning and practising.

Many X users commented on the post, appreciating Tyagi sharing his experience and advice with the young aspirants. One person commented, "Sir, your posts always teach me something.. Thank you for constantly inspiring us."
