London: After waiting for 44 years, England finally won the ICC World Cup 2019 at Lord’s on Sunday (July 14) in a dramatic final where both the match and the Super Over were tied. England took the trophy on boundary count as per the rules. But when you look at the team composition of England, should we really say that England won the trophy? Well, some argue that it is not the homegrown players who got that their maiden 50-over ICC silverware.
