Punjab: Chatiwind residents catch drug dealers, thrash them

Amritsar: Punjab’s Chatiwind residents caught hold of some youths who were trying to sell drugs and beat them up in full public view. The youths who were assaulted included those who had come there to sell drugs as well as those who were buying it. Residents acted before informing police as the incidents of drug consumption had increased in the region. The locals gathered and decided to bring the ones responsible for it to book and took law into their hands and beat them up. Details of if they were handed over to the police are not known. But the video of residents taking action against illegal works is going viral.
