Karnataka dance floor test: Who's the party tonight?

Kumaraswamy seeks to prove his majority in the floor test today. On the other hand, the Supreme Court on Wednesday ruled that the rebel MLAs in Karnataka could not be compelled to attend Assembly proceedings.

With the resignation of 16 MLAs, the strength of the Karnataka Assembly is brought down from 224 to 208 with the Congress-JD(S) strength down to 102 (including BSP MLA, Speaker and nominated member).

While some may may favour the numbers and some may dislike it, what’s for certain is that when the Speaker sings the final song there will be a party which will include dancing and merriment. After months of planning and weeks of rehearsal, there will be a winner of the dance floor test.
