UDF candidate MK Raghavan demands Rs 5 crore from 2 people; caught in bribery scandal

Kozhikode: UDF Kozhikode Lok Sabha candidate and sitting MP MK Raghavan has allegedly negotiated a bribe. In the viral video telecast by a news channel, it can be seen that two people promised to donate Rs 5 crore to the election fund if land dealings were completed smoothly by him for them.

Raghavan also revealed that around Rs 20 crore was required for the election campaign and his party may provide Rs 2 crore. The remaining amount has been raised by him, he stated in the video. Raghavan asks the private party to hand over the money at the office in New Delhi and that the deal would be in cash only.
