Karnataka crisis: High drama in Vidhana Soudha after two Congress legislators quit

Bengaluru: Congress leaders MTB Nagaraj and K Sudhakar on Wednesday (July 10) decided to meet the Speaker Ramesh Kumar and submit their resignations. Meanwhile, several other senior Congress leaders such as Priyank Kharge and Dinesh Gundu Rao reportedly began to manhandle Sudhakar, questioning why he had decided to quit the party.

Later, Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala heard the news and urged the Bengaluru Police to escort Sudhakar to Raj Bhavan in Bengaluru. The media too, was not allowed to enter Vidhana Soudha due following these tense moments.
