Bengaluru: Zameer Ahmed Khan, a prominent Congressman and an MLA in the coalition government in Karnataka is known for his strong remarks. This time, he is in the news for saying that if the BJP comes back to power at the Centre and forms the government in the state, he will serve as the security guard at the residence of BJP leader BS Yeddyurappa.

The recent turbulence in the coalition government has set tongues wagging that the BJP will be able to make inroads and make the coalition collapse. But the members of the ruling coalition have stuck together, saying the coalition will last for five years. Having said that, former chief minister Siddaramaiah and president of the JD(S) in the state, H Vishwanath, have fought bitterly, thus making the situation of the coalition all the more volatile.
