Ever Since the Maharashtra BJP's manifesto for the October 21 assembly elections said that the party will ask the NDA government at the Center to confer India's highest civilian award on Veer Savarkar and social reformers Jyotiba Phule and Savitribai Phule the Opposition is not able to keep its calm and is not in the favour of Savarkar being honored with Bharat Ratna.
