Thrissur collector helps carry voting equipment; Netizens praise her dedication

Thiruvananthapuram: As Kerala began polling for 20 Lok Sabha seats at 7 am on Tuesday, a video in which Thrissur collector can be seen lending a hand to polling officers, has gone viral.  TV Anupama was seen lifting heavy voting equipment from a lorry and carrying it into a building. Her act has won many hearts as thousands of netizens appreciated Anupama's commitment and dedication towards election duty.

In Kerala, a total of 2,61,51,534 voters will exercise their right to vote in the polls. Among them 1,34,66,521 are women, 1,26,84,839 men and 174 are transgenders.

The constituencies that began polling today in Kerala are Kasaragod, Kannur, Vadakara, Wayanad, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Ponnani, Palakkad, Alathur, Thrissur, Chalakudy, Ernakulam, Idukki, Kottayam, Alappuzha, Mavelikkara, Pathanamthitta, Kollam, Attingal, and Thiruvananthapuram.
