Trichy: DMK candidate for Aravakurichi Assembly by-poll V Senthil Balaji has alleged that police in the constituency are favouring the ruling AIADMK, while sidelining other parties. He also added that tables of DMK functionaries were being broken.
During his meeting with media persons, Senthil Balaji alleged that all parties are permitted to set up stalls, 200 metres away from the polling booth to explain to voters about their party’s vision.
He added that no party was permitted to have photographs of their leaders during such a period. “However, all the AIADMK members have used such photographs and the police aren’t doing anything about it,” alleged Senthil Balaji.
He also said that he has complained to the relevant authorities regarding the same.
