Raichur: Income Tax officials raided the residence of zilla panchayat member Sandeep Kumar in Raichur. Sandeep is the relative of Congress-JD(S) alliance candidate BV Nayak. There was tight police security at Sandeep's house on Lingasugur Road. The officers reviewed documents and have seized Rs 5 lakh in cash from his house. Zilla panchayat CEO Nalini Atul and Raichur assistant commissioner Shilpa Sharma led the raid.
