Purulia: Counting for Purulia Lok Sabha Constituency has started at Purulia Polytechnic college amid tight security.
2 ASP, 6 DSP, 12 Inspector, and 1100 state police have been deployed. CRPF has been deployed inside counting centre, and two company of BSF has been deployed outside the counting centre.
Seven company of central force have been kept in reserve to combat any untoward law and order situation.
