Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy along with wife Anitha and son Nikhil (candidate from Mandya), cast their vote at Kethiganahalli in Bengaluru Rural constituency.

After casting his vote CM HD Kumaraswamy reportedly said, “Dynasty politics isn’t an important issue now, the country’s problems are the main issue. It’s only because of dynasty politics and regional politics that several states in this country have developed. We’re not bothered about criticism from the BJP.”

Kumarswamy who was sworn in as the chief minister in 2018 also criticised Kannada film stars for supporting Sumalatha Ambareesh who is contesting from Mandya as a key opponent of his son Nikhil Kumarswamy.
