With just a couple of days left for the announcement of the Lok Sabha election, Karnataka chief minister has consistently been in the news for one reason or another. In the latest news, Kumaraswamy admitted that he was forced to field his son from Mandya constituency.
Mysuru: Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy said that he fielded his son Nikhil Kumaraswamy out of compulsion in Mandya.
Kumaraswamy stated that the senior leaders in the party had forced him to field Nikhil, without whom the JD(S) wouldn’t have been able to contest in the constituency, he claimed.
The chief minister added that he knew the people of Mandya and so is not worried about allegations that claim he has secret reports that say Nikhil would lose.
