Bengaluru: Just a day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to visit Bagalkote in Karnataka, one of his admirers, Sadashiva Meti has taken up a unique exercise to pray for his second term as the prime minister.

In his attempt, Sadashiva performed “deerghadanda namaskara” or prostration, an act of lying completely stretched out on the ground for a distance of as many as eight kilometres.

He culminated his exercise at the famous Tulasigere Anjaneya temple in Bagalkote. The BJP candidate for the constituency is PC Gaddigoudar.
