Tumakuru: After defeating former Prime Minister and JD(S) chief HD Deve Gowda in Tumakuru, Karnataka, BJP leader GS Basavaraj said that Deve Gowda contesting instead of Congress leader Muddahanumegowda was a boon to him. People supporting all parties have voted for me, he said. Reacting to Prajwal Revanna's resignation, he said that Deve Gowda and his entire family has never spoken truth in their life and that this news was also not true. Prajwal has earlier said that he would resign as Hassan MP, while offering the seat to Deve Gowda.
