Belagavi: Income Tax officials raid house, farmhouse of Congress candidate’s aide

Income Tax sleuths raided the house and farmhouse of taluk panchayat member Shankargouda Patil in Belagavi. Patil is a close aide of Congress-JD(S) candidate for Lok Sabha elections in Belagavi, Lakshmi Hebbalkar. The election will be held tomorrow (April 23). The Goa-Belagavi I-T team raided the residence of Shankargouda Patil in the wee hours of April 22. Sleuths also conducted a simultaneous raid at his farmhouse in the outskirts of Belagavi.
