Playback singer Janaki suffers fall, fractures hip

Mysuru: Renowned playback singer, S Janaki had to undergo a surgery due to a fractured hip, after she suffered a fall at a relative’s house in Mysuru.

Janaki was rushed to a private hospital and a surgery was performed. She addressed the media and said that she had suffered a hip fracture and that doctors have assured her that she would recover soon.

Janaki was discharged from hospital on Saturday and addressed media on her way out.

Doctors state that Janaki will be completely fine in three weeks and will be able to resume walking normally with proper rest.
