YSRCP chief Jagan meets Governor Narasimhan, seeks protection for EVMs

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan. Jaganmohan urged the governor to hand over the protection of the EVMs to central forces, expressing apprehensions about the security provided by the state police. Jagan also sought the governor's intervention to ensure better law and order situation in the state. He said the situation was “worsening”. He also told the governor that there was pressure on police officials to target YSRCP leaders and cadre from chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. He also told the governor about attacks on party leaders at Narasaraopet and other constituencies on polling day.
