A Manju had quit Congress and joined the BJP after he was not given a ticket to contest as a MP from Hassan. He now stands as the opponent of Congress-JD(S) alliance candidate Prajwal Revanna. "I dared to stand against the party and contest from Hassan, whereas no one else dared to do so," he said.
