Chennai: With candidates finding innovative ways to file nominations, the latest one has caught our eye. Kuppalji Devadas from Chennai, belonging to the Amma Makkal Desiya Katchi, filed his nomination from south Chennai by carrying buckets of coins.

The man can be seen carrying a pot full of Rs 10 coins, another with Rs 5 coins and yet another with Re 1 coins.

This is not the first time that someone is doing something like this, in a bid to get noticed while filing nominations.

Earlier, a man pulled a bullock cart full of his supporters while filing his nomination in Coimbatore.

Last year, a candidate from Indore brought Rs 10,000 in one-rupee coins as security deposit to accompany his nomination papers.

Returning Officer Shashwat Sharma had to deploy five office staff to count the coins brought by candidate Dipak Pawar. It took them almost 90 minutes to count the coins.
