Pathanamthitta NDA candidate K Surendran said he is a 100% sure of his victory in the constituency. He added that the other parties are worried about his win and are thus trying to defame him.
Surendran said that the CPM tried to block routes to different places even on the last day of his campaign. Surendran was at the forefront of the protest over the entry of women of menstrual age into the Sabarimala temple.
All the 20 parliamentary constituencies in Kerala will go to polls in the third round of the seven-phased Lok Sabha election on April 23.
Counting of votes will take place on May 23.
